As a pharmacy in Alberta, we protect your health information under the Health Information Act. We collect only what we need to care for you, use it only for that purpose, and keep it secure. Our staff sign a confidentiality oath and are trained every year.
This website
Browsing this website does not require you to share any personal information. The website assistant gives general information only; please don't type personal health details into it.
We use Google Analytics to count visits: which pages are read, roughly which city visitors are in, and what kind of device they use. It does not tell us who you are, and we never send it your name or health information. It uses cookies; you can block them in your browser settings.
Booking and requests
When you book a visit or send a refill or transfer request, the details you give go securely to our pharmacy system, which is stored in Canada. We use them to prepare for your visit or your order and to contact you about it.
Text messages
If you agree to texts, we send short messages such as a booking reminder or "your order is ready". Texts never include health details, and we never send marketing. Reply STOP at any time to stop them. We do not sell or share your mobile number. Read our texting terms.
When your pharmacist has something private to tell you, we text you a secure link instead. You open it with your date of birth, and the message itself stays on our system in Canada.
Email is not a secure way to send health information. Please call us, or ask us for a secure message, rather than emailing details about your health or medications.
Your rights
You can ask to see your health information, or ask us to correct it. Ask at the pharmacy or call us. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your information, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta (oipc.ab.ca).
